The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Thursday put off its plan of investigating the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shahbaz Sharif at his residence in assets beyond means and Lahore Waste Management Company corruption cases. Sources claimed that the NAB has taken this decision after discussion at appropriate level. Earlier on August 24, the NAB had decided to go to the residence of the PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif and investigate him in the above-mentioned cases. Shahbaz Sharif was summoned by the NAB on last date of hearing but he refused to come owing to the poor health and submitted a detailed reply to the NAB's questionnaire. Advocate Ata Tarar told NAB that Shahbaz's doctor examined him on August 20 and advised to take complete rest for 10 days. It may be noted that the PML-N president has been accused of interference in the work of LWMC board of directors. The NAB had also directed Shahbaz to appear in the case earlier.
